Prior to earning his M.Div. and being ordained, Ken earned advanced degrees in law (JD) and business (MBA) from the University of Virginia, as well in public health (MPH) from Boston University. Among other roles, Ken served in executive positions at the universities of Wisconsin and Arizona State, as well as serving as CEO of the American Red Cross Grand Canyon Chapter, in Phoenix, Arizona—at the time the sixth largest Red Cross chapter. His leadership was instrumental in helping the chapter to receive the 2008 Nonprofit Team of the Year Award sponsored by Arizona Business magazine.
Amanda comes to Lutheran Federal Credit Union from the Lutheran Church Extension Fund where she was Lending Administrator of Loans and Real Estate. At LCEF, her primary role was to assist senior management with research for the credit union project during its chartering process. Prior to that, she worked through the ranks of branch life at U.S. Bank for 6+ years where she ultimately held the position as Branch Manager. Her retail banking knowledge and experience is a benefit in her role as Assistant Vice President of Operations.
Jenn joined Lutheran FCU after 15+ years as the manager of the Rostered Church Worker (RCW) loan program at Lutheran Church Extension Fund. Her program development, lending and underwriting experience spans all aspects of the entire consumer and mortgage lending process. At Lutheran FCU, she is responsible for the execution and operational functions of lending products for the credit union.
Erin has come to Lutheran Federal Credit Union from being a Branch Manager for 3 years at Academy Bank, a member of the Armed Forces. There, she managed and led her team in consumer lending. Previously, she was with U.S. Bank for 2 years as a Relationship Manager for the mortgage department, where she gained insight regarding home loans. At Lutheran Federal Credit Union, Erin will be extending her retail banking and lending knowledge for consumer loans as a Lending Specialist.
James joins Lutheran Federal Credit Union from a local credit union in St. Louis where he was a Member Service Representative. James brings 15 years of credit union experience in customer service, consumer lending, and financial counseling. When he's not at work, he donates his time as an Elder at his church and volunteers for community service. Laura joins Lutheran Federal Credit Union after several years of experience at Princeton Federal Credit Union in New Jersey, as well as having previous experience with being in the Customer Operations Services department at MasterCard. Her expertise in onboarding processes and operations will be very valuable for Lutheran Federal Credit Union. In addition, Laura is fully bilingual in Spanish and conversational in French. Here at Lutheran Federal, she holds the position of Financial Specialist.
Claire recently graduated from Concordia University Wisconsin with a major in Business Management and a minor in Marketing. During her time at Concordia, she interned with The Lutheran Church Extension Fund, where she worked with the Loans and Real Estate department. As LFCU’s Member Engagement Advocate, she has a special focus in assisting members with their needs, creating marketing material, and keeping the website updated, functioning, and AWESOME!
Sarah joins Lutheran Federal Credit Union with 12+ years of business management experience including 7+ years in the finance industry. As Accounting Manager, Sarah oversees all of the day-to-day credit union accounting processes as well as preparation of the credit union’s financial statements and reporting.
